Centered on the creation of a thematic game, this project explores environment building in Unreal Engine 5 and the use of the Blueprint visual scripting system. The game is set in a future shaped by the accelerated development of Industry 4.0, where global environmental deterioration and resource scarcity have made the human body increasingly incapable of surviving under extreme conditions. Although concepts such as the metaverse and digital avatars have emerged, the virtual community and legal frameworks remain incomplete, allowing only a small elite to enter the digital world.
Excluded from this system, ordinary people turn to the black market, purchasing and upgrading mechanical prosthetics to enhance their ability to survive. This gives rise to an evolving class of “cyber humans.” However, while prosthetics strengthen the body, they gradually erode the individual’s self-awareness. Once control is lost, cyber humans become irrational “cyber lunatics” and are ultimately eliminated by cyber officers.
Through this narrative framework, the project combines UE5 environment construction and Blueprint interaction logic to prototype a cyber world that integrates technical experimentation with narrative tension and systemic conflict.
