Touch Designer - Mapping

Dimensions Variable

Dreamland is an experimental audiovisual project that explores the idea of a passage into a dream state. Created using TouchDesigner, the work constructs a continuously evolving visual environment that simulates the perceptual transition from waking reality into a dreamlike space.

The project is presented as a form of collaborative mapping, bringing together visual and sonic contributions from multiple creators. These diverse materials are integrated into a single generative system and projected within a shared spatial structure. Through layering, overlap, and interference, the work forms a composite environment made up of multiple “dream fragments.”

Within the installation, viewers encounter a visual experience that oscillates between order and instability. Much like a dream itself, the space appears continuous while constantly dissolving and reorganizing. Rather than emphasizing a fixed result, Dreamland focuses on process, transformation, and perceptual fluctuation, functioning as an experimental investigation into the relationship between sound, generative visuals, and collective creation.
