Human beings have always longed to leave traces — marks that testify, I was here.
From graffiti carved into scenic spots, to love locks on bridges, to fingerprints on a door handle, and even to a fleeting “story view” on social media — every act becomes evidence of our presence.
In the digital age, our traces are no longer confined to the physical world. We leave behind data trails — browsing histories, GPS records, posts, and comments — all forming a network of invisible marks that extend our existence into the virtual. The boundary between physical and digital traces has grown increasingly blurred, and some even pursue digital immortality — hoping to exist forever, in another form.

How Are You Doing Today? is an interactive installation that invites viewers to leave their own traces. Through touch, text, or gesture, each participant contributes a fragment of their personal narrative. The work does not offer a single story — instead, it becomes a collective archive of presence.
In this project, I shift the role of authorship from artist to audience. I am not the storyteller — I am the one who poses the question:
· “How are you doing today?”
· “What have you left behind today?”
· “Did you leave your trace consciously, or without noticing?”

This work explores the human desire to be remembered, to resist disappearance. Yet traces are fragile — they fade, erode, and vanish into noise and time.
Perhaps what remains, after all, is not the trace itself, but the act of leaving it.
A quiet affirmation that whispers:
· I was here.
